The Inflatable Spherical Valve That Won't Gum Up, Jam Or Leak

A heavy-duty valve featuring a Class VI sealing system for pressure up to 150 psig or for full vacuum that is ideal for high-pressure or vacuum environments.

When All Else Fails

  • Reliable 24/7 Dependability - These valves are used in processes that cycle every two minutes every day for a year. The bearings will wear out before the seal does!

  • Protects Your Equipment and Your People - The positive seal prevents leakage of hazardous liquids or gases.

  • Improves Efficiency - Bubble-tight sealing means air compressors and vacuum pumps won't be overloaded. Vacuum drying operations are more efficient.

  • Typical Applications - Pressure or vacuum reactors, dense-phase pneumatic conveying, vacuum dryers, extruders, fluid-bed dryers, any application where significant pressure differentials must be contained.


Bubble-tight, Spherical Valve

Materials of Construction

  • Inflatable Seal: Neoprene, Viton®, Viton Extreme®, EPDM, Perflouroelastomer, Buna-N and Heat-Stable Silicon®. Some materials are available in white.

  • Body, Dome & Retaining Plates: Stainless Steel (316,304,410), Carbon Steel (4140, WCB), Ductile Iron, Hastelloy-C, Monel, Aluminum Bronze, other alloys upon request.

  • Coatings & Hardfacing: Teflon® PFA, Halar ECTFE, Chrome, Tungsten Carbide and Electroless Nickel.

Pressures & Temperatures

  • System operating pressures can be as high as 150psi or full vacuum. Seal pressure is recommended to be 15psi greater than operating pressure.

  • Standard valves are good for temperatures up to 475°F. Water cooling is available for higher temperatures.

  • Fail safe design for loss of power and/or compressed air

  • Dribble-feed or throttling

  • DIN or other special flange drilling

  • Stick-release and/or Teflon® coatings for highly corrosive applications
